IIRC these Tundra rims have better backspacing and offset for big tires than the stock TRD Sport wheels, and with 35s you're gonna need all the help you can get.

I'd make the tundy wheels your primary and get the spare mounted on the sport rim.

I myself intend to just get a steelie spare that matches the BS/offset of these tundy rims for a spare, as my current spare is a 16in.

I actually have too much tire hhanging out now, could use less backspacing (more backspacing) to keep the wheels alittle more tucked

The question is whether or not they *can* tuck any more.

If the tire shop is nice, they can do a test mount for you and check tire clearance there on the lift.

Also, don't you have wheel spacers on? if you need to tuck 'em a little more, ditch them thangs mang!

Got to have the spacer or the tires rub spindles but with the spindles and spacers kicking the tires out I need a wheel with more backspacing right... what the diff between the sport and tundy

I don't really see how this works...spacer moves the tires out so they don't rub...if you increase backspacing, you're just negating the wheel spacer. You MAY be able to find some middle ground between your spacer amount and backspace (i.e. a wheel with half inch more backspace will effectively position your tires as though you have a half-inch spacer), but if you go too far into the backspacing, you're rubbing the spindle with the tire again.

Sport alloys are 5.5" BS with a +30mm offset, so they're going to move your tire about 1" back into the well from your current setup if I'm not mistaken.

Really? If so, that's awesome. I was told 5. If I wasn't so lazy, I'd just measure it myself.

5.25 for the offroad and 5.5 for the sport. Are you SURE those tundy 10-spokes are 4.5BS? You may have just made my night.

If I could get .5 in more backspacing I would be set, don't know if I could run a whole inch
