Nope don’t think it at all. I’ve used google and YouTube to lessen many things. :)

Friend and I were talking about that. We do most everything ourselves when possible. Lots of people can’t. Not even they do t want to they just can’t. :)

Today is the only nice day this long weekend in SW Ontario. Doing a pork shoulder (pulled pork) and you guys got me hooked on smoked Spam. And smoked baked beans. First pc of wood is mesquite followed by maple chunks.

    I knew that :p

In the 70's all Engineering Majors were required to double up on English courses because no one could understand what the hell we were trying to say. I am living proof that was a failed experiment

So I use Nuke. Or wait is it Nuc... Damn I am so confused :D

Did some driving today and hit up some butcher shops. There is meat out there. Got bacon. Chicken breasts. Prime grade ribeyes. Sirloin (for the son). Wish I had more room in the freezer or another freezer but soonest anyone in town can have a freezer for delivery is July  Found a place that sells 40 pounds of chicken wings for $80. But I got no room for 40 pounds of wings need to keep eating my way through the food in the freezer already. And maybe start throwing out frozen veggies :anonymous: Have 6 frozen whole chukars for dog training and another dog (5 year old) coming in a week and going to need them for her. At least they take up less room than the mallards I have used in the past.

Simple. They pay people to do it for them. Or whine, plead and beg until someone does it for them.

Meat is hit and miss here. I can find it all except brisket. And local butchers are surprisingly non existent here.

Heck man if you can make that you can totally make a cone!

It was actually pretty easy. I started with a piece of poster board and cut out a circle. In this case I used the charcoal bowl as a template. I then found center and cut out 1/4 of the circle and bent the two cut edges together.

I taped the edges together and found the desired height and marked the cone for that. I then used my template to transfer the design to the stainless steel and cut it out.

I used a shirt piece of 4" PVC pipe to help me bend it enough and used some vise grip clamps to hold it in place while I drilled and riveted it in place.

Now if you read all the posts about it.. it was a bit tall and I ended up drilling some holes around the bottom with a drill press from the inside .

Gentlemen. The time has come. Salvation! I’ve acquired turkey!!!!!!!

smoked turkey breast is my favorite and it’s been months. Even before this whole shin dig I wasn’t able to find any at the stores. Well the time has come my friends. I have two turkey breast and 6 spicy Italian sausages, my two favorites. Hallelujah!!!!!

downside. Won’t be able to do it until next weekend when we’re hosting some people. Doing 2 turkey breast 6 sausages and a pork butt in the smoker for that.

hah, sorry, my wife was not reciprocating Of how much actual happiness this created. That’s also a little sad on my part but that’s fine it’s delicious.

Friend coming over likes pulled pork so I can’t not make that now. Have to figure out how to get it all to fit. I’ll figure it out.
