If a torque wrench "adds" anything, it should be replaced.

I snapped mine off when installing as well. Bolt is cheap and readily available at a dealership parts counter.

10lbs/ft? Do you mean ft·lbs? If you mean foot-pounds....how did you snap anything with 10ftlbs. That's barely more than hand tight. If not....then what are lbs/ft?

It's the standard non graded 6mm bolt toyota uses all over the sheetmetal, likely on many of their vehicles. It uses a 10mm wrench to tighten it, hence OPs confusion. It's probably not meant to be torqued, but Total Chaos probably can't get away with official instructions says just snug it up. Using a ft-lbs torque wrench on something that would probably be tight at 60 in-lbs is a great way to snap it. And then the nature of this specific bolt, after the install of the stiffeners means it doesn't align very well which causes binding.

TL; DR: Very easy to do, very cheap to fix.

Lmao hahahah. I just bought Total Chaos bed stiffeners last month and did the same thing when installing them last week. It's not the products fault, it's your fault for over tightening that tiny bolt. I snapped mine off and spent an hour drilling and tapping that shit until finally I broke the damn weld on the bolt. Had to drill a bigger hole and then just tightened with a bolt. It's actually stronger now than it should have been. Anyway, don't over tighten shit. The product has nothing to do with this. The bolt is from Toyota and its stock.
