What's up @Volken and welcome to TW. It's an awesome forum.

In case your confused by the response you got above, take a look at this thread. It will shed some light :D on the subject of why LEDs should not be ran in OEM (stock) housings.

That looks good. A lot more refined than their previous bumpers from what I’ve seen. I like it (I also liked the simplicity of their old ones)

I did. That's my favorite part about this truck...it's like legos and an erector set for big boys.

Thank you! I'm pretty pleased with how it turned out. The thought of drilling holes in a $270 Pelican made me sick at my stomach, which was where it all started.

Well I did a thing. Getting an alignment on Monday and still waiting on the leafs to be delivered so I can install the rears! My truck is from the rust belt and it was hell getting the top hat bolts out. Lots of patience. Lots of endurance. Stoked to have this project behind me!

Washed and waxed my truck and finally cleaned the engine bay...

Quick process overview: Brushed the surfaces and crevices, sprayed with simple green and let it soak, scrubbed each surface and crevice with the simple green soaking, sprayed water to rinse, microfiber towel to finish

Did some thermal management today. Not sure if I'll redo the tape, it's kinda janky. I recently installed Triton v6 switchbacks and OEM smoked headlamps. Stoked with the results (led on right and factory on left in video) https://youtu.be/nBL5ny0z7Ok

I SO want a flat-black hood. Mine is the sport with the fake hood scoop - does a good job of producing glare any time the sun is out ahead. Getting tired of the induced headaches.

Trying to decide if I just spray paint it here in the yard, or go the vinyl route...

You have probably seen this but this guy sells an anti-glare vinyl for the scoop hood. https://www.tacomaworld.com/threads/2nd-gen-anti-glare-hood-scoop-decal-shipping-now.523637/
