What Have You Done To Your 2nd Gen Tacoma Today?

Are these the coil-overs that came on the
15 TRD Pro or the ones which come on the 3rd gen Pro? Awesome upgrade either way, just curious.

 

Appear to be 3rd gen.

These are actually for a '19 TRD Pro 4Runner. Bolted right in save for having to clearance the lower bushing sleeves a little to fit the 2nd gen lower mounts. Initial impressions are these are a huge improvement over the factory OR Bilsteins. Ride is smoother and more planted, I no longer feel every bump/crack in the road. Highly recommended if you happen to find a set for a decent price.

 

Finally gave her a much needed wash.

 

Installed window visors (AVS) and new seat covers, will still need to cut the slots for the seatbelts and headrest covers in the back.

DIY bike rack. Followed instructions from and old thread here on TW. Needs a few tweaks, but it’ll work and it’s beats piling them up on top of each other.

Thank you! We have 2 and a Mojo, just shaking them out of storage to get ready for some runs to the coast (where I would be right now if not for the weather), so none of the cool toys are mounted right now, but they are a very useful little yak!

 

Installed some BAMF hangers. taped a piece of red plastic behind the logo to show some love and give them some pop.

 

Took the taco to a Toyota dealer to get the frame inspected one last time before the warranty expired at the end of the month. Surface rust is there but they gave a clean bill of health.

 

Put my new Dakar’s in along with new gas tank straps.
Anyone want some tsb springs with an AAL and block? Lol

4x innovations. Adam is awesome build quality is unbelievable. And they have a sale going on right now. And imo this is the best looking bolt on rear bumper available, the way they match the flow of the bumper to the truck makes it look like it was a factory option from the dealer. @traxman25

 

I was looking into a HC bumper but one with a hitch that isnt hidden but on the bottom. Do they make HC ones for 2nd gens?

 

They do make HC bumpers I really like them but cant commit to cutting my truck yet. But here hitch is integrated in the bumper and not below

 

Swapped headlight bulbs and completely new fog lights to go completely LED.

 

Ya go ahead and take those led headlights out.....
