We pretty much kill all of them at the house.

 

No snake should have a pass. Creepy nasty disgusting creatures.

 

I have a couple rat snakes here at the house. But I do not tell my Wife they are here She would set the house on

 

We have a lot of field mice and rats around here. because of all the pine trees.

 

I would too.

 

The black snakes here will eat a poisonous snake like a copperhead. So I leave them alone.

 

It was pretty good, I had a big plate and enjoyed it. I have no problem throwing away food thats not good, especially if I'm the cook. I'm happy to have completed my first smoke and look forward to improving. In the mean time I have a bunch of left overs from today and still have better vacuum sealed in the freezer I need to finish. Think theres another uncooked brisket and butt waiting to get cooked when I start running low.

I'm all for leaving animals that wont cause me or my dogs problems. For me that means can harm to me, for my dogs it means anything that moves. I would likely give it time to move out of my yard or move it myself. If it could cause harm it wont get the chance to come back into my yard.

 

But if they are all extinct then there are no poisonous ones.

I am NOT making friends with snakes. But I do need a couple of them around to keep the mice killed out. But the mice keep the scorpions killed out so it's messed up I have mice or scorpions. We have a ton of small black scorpions here and they pack a nasty sting.

 

That would result in me being arrested

 

The annual migration just a stones throw from here is a big event. Folks come from all over the world to see it. Hopefully this year the critters will have a ‘lil peace ‘n quiet to just do what they do.

 

Black Snakes are Cool had one in Florida my Dad caught in the yard .Snakes don't scare me much.
