Ah hell I did not know they were corrosive/ Rust resistant.

Water is the best heat dissipater for sure. It is the cure for the supercharged C7 Z06 vettes which have known overheat issues on the track. The owners use like a 80/20 water/ coolant mix and boom. Problem solved.

The shop only has room for one vehicle and @12TRDTacoma's truck will be using that spot so I can weld on his vehicle.

I dont have a prob with you doing it at all just keep in mind it would be outside on grass.

Also I dont have a cherry picker or eng stand so someone would have to bring one.

Make sure to add antifreeze before freezing temps as with it inhibits corrosion, it is not an antifreeze.

Anyone have links or pictures of where they tapped for their gauges? I already have a ton of stuff tapped wired and wanted to see how everyone wired it up. Any good solutions for banking several gauges? I likely will have some other ones (additional AFR, Fuel, Oil or coolant down the line) Need to wrap up the boost/afr electrical parts.

I did fuse taps into the little fuse panel behind the coin box left side of steering wheel and the main fuse box. I used the windshield wiper motor and the power window fuses. 11EA94FD-9497-456F-B5D5-C7D506C933C8.jpg1E0CAF18-0BA6-484F-9DD8-211A2DF7763A.jpg

I did mine like this as well. Two gauges on each fuse tap (two taps and four gauges total). A big thanks to @JuanitoBunito for walking me thru this when i was wiring mine up

makes sense. I have a few taps in there already so need to see what’s left. I was wondering if I could double up. seems ok as long as you fuse it accordingly.

which wire did you tap for the light power and throttle on the AFR gauge?

For the folks that added a no weld bung where did you all place it? I was hoping to put it between cats but doesn’t look like that will work.

I could put it farther along but from conversations best to get to closer to the cats if I can.

Ya I have Kelford cams with the URD exhaust gears. And haven’t put my blower belt on since I installed the cams back in November.

I did have a long conversation with Keil about if I should or shouldn’t. He theorized his camshafts with the retard gears would result in low end torque and sacrifice high end torque. But he encouraged me to do it and send him dyno results.

I would be curious to see how it pans out. I feel so far I see better torque at the top end verse low end only cam gears.

I didn't think you could drive around normally without the belt on the blower??? Or is it mostly just parked.

It’s not optimal but definitely drive-able
