Anyone else running the camburg sua kit? Wondering how long the shackle bushings last.

 

I am, but I only have a few thousand miles on it since install. No bushing issues that I've noticed.

 

Does King ship custom coilovers with RR prefilled or no? My new reservoirs feel extremely lighter compared with the old ones, and they're bigger too.

 

Oil yes, nitrogen maybe not, there is usually a tag that says if they are pressurized or not.

No tag to be seen. So I supposed they charge through the reservoir.

 

If the shock extends on their own, it’s charged, otherwise it needs nitrogen.

 

Next question, should it charge the shock before adjusting spring/coil preload? I'd guess no difference, rather ask.

The glass presure does effect spring rate. But not very much.

 

You never know. When I was working in the shop some shipped with nitro and just a few without. I have nitrogen and a air loss tool if you wanted to check.

 

I noticed there was a difference in locating grooves for the boots of the camburg and TC extended axle shafts. TC assembled and camburg laying next to it. The camburg matched the OEM locations exactly and TC is closer to the end of the shaft for the differential input side. Has anyone experienced more torn boots over the other?? Now I'm considering just holding on to the extra set of shafts instead of selling them.

They were charged. 150 psi per my tool. Went with 170. Bumps at 150. Will tune from there.
Taking it out to Johnson Valley soon.

 

Looks good just secure the cables to spindle. Dont use Zip ties lol. Use a screw on holder.

 

There's nowhere to screw on the spindle. Unless I grind and weld.
