    @JoeCOVA Do we bring up c-clip vs semi-float vs a [gasp] full float or what actually breaks a d35? That part of the pool might be too deep for this swim class:laugh:

    I've had a few OR, SR5, Sports. No rhyme or reason, some developed it some didnt, some same model, some different.

    Did have the whine: 2016 SR5, 2019 TRD OR
    Did not have it: 2017 OR, 2019 Sport, 2020 OR

    Honestly its overblown here, sure it may be annoying in a dead quiet cabin, but its not a major mech issue and how many people sit there in a dead quiet cabin going 55 mph all the time. Back in 2016 it was a new diff, so many of us were a bit concerned, but seems to be just one of those nuance annoying things but not a major flaw, just like the whistling lower control arms were, the 2nd gen tic, etc.
