You could run a single heavier wire with higher rated fuse or even direct to battery and added small fuse block for accessories in cab. I filled my fuse block with 5A blades but the tap or battery may have a 15 or 20.

It actually does drive well enough. It’s not as powerful as an NA but it works. You’re not going to be passing anyone on the highway though.

I was thinking of doing something like that. I have one ran to the front with a fuse block and the rear but not one in cab. A distro for accessories and one trigger wires would be a nice touch.

Yah I found the layout. I have to dig out three coin tray a bunch of that dash it pulled out right now for various projects or that would have been obvious.

Anyone that has tapped the throttle position sensor know if you can do it in cab or does it need to be directly at the sensor? If so which wire? My AFR gauge taps into this as well.

    My shit is all stock.
So I'd been complaining to @JustDSM that my truck was doing this weird surging under heavy acceleration. He told me to check my plugs. I was under the impression that that couldn't be the issue. The plugs in there have less than 30k on them. Fancy Iridium plugs that came with the blower.

    HA!
    IMG_1276.jpg IMG_1275.jpg IMG_1273.jpg IMG_1274.jpg

Far easier to pull the blower than try to work underneath it for the drivers side spark plugs.
Coolant mess is from a pinhole leak in one of the small hoses running to the throttle body. That was a pleasant surprise when I popped the hood.

I'm tempted to do the new fuel rails and injectors while I'm here. But, I'm quite sure that Justin will literally strangle me if I make any more changes that require tuning. At least for a while.

Mine took a tach signal. But a TPS signal? Interesting. I wonder what it wants that for. Maybe you could grab something at the pedal?

    Awesome!

I'm in the process of teaching my 16yo daughter how a clutch functions and this pic is perfect.

She's going to be a unicorn of her generation if she can drive stick. Unfortunate that it seems like it'll be phased out in a couple years in North America the way things are going.

    Making progress.

It will be harder for her to txt and drive, plus very few of her friends will ever ask to borrow her car. :drevil:

yah wasn’t sure. That’s what it states. It’s only the one with a Warning light that you set for high and low.

@JustDSM Got my ECU delivered yesterday and installed today. Truck runs great. Just wanted to thank you for the quick turnaround.

Will be looking into AFR and boost gauges next month. Realized there's an airbag in the A pillar, so I'll be going with something like a flexpod dash mount. Looks like there is some good info on here re that subject.
You guys rock, lots of good info in this thread.

Don’t know why this reminds me of the time I saw a car pulled over on the highway with some young girl changing a flat tire. With her 4 guy friends craning over her watching.

    lol.

Once she gets the X3 6MT down, she's be able to drive anything.

    It's a stiff clutch with a AWD.
