No issues opening up VF. Once tune pack is sent I'll put 2.0 on 04b14 and be the guinea pig

All loaded and licensed now. Shows 5 credits, but don't know how to exchange the credits for my ECU unlock. 04B04. Also are there any instructions for Vf tuner?

    Thanks

There are directions. They were included with email containing your master key.

Open the stock tune for your ECU. Four credits will then be deducted.

I do not have a VF tuner folder, only the app

Edit: never mind, I did some deep searching and I found it.

Now I’m just gonna wait patiently for 2.0 final so I can flash the 93 octane performance map

I was wondering about performance maps today as I flashed the 2.0 that was released today. Will there be a performance version when 2.0 final is finally finaled? I thought maybe now that OLE is in play, the tune would become as “performance” as possible given the fuel that’s being ran

I think Mat’s performance mode is D + ECT. Not sure how that applies to manuals.

I think the tunes are still gonna be base and performance like the previous ones. I think the 1.05 base was more mpg based than the 1.05 performance variant

I've been reading though thread after thread, and still a little confused on the compatibility with the 2.0 vF tune packs. Just want to make sure I'm all lined up for when the tune drops. I've got a 2018 AT, so I'm currently running 04A60. I know that if I want to run the current beta I need to update to 04A61, but is that also the case for 2.0? @OVTune

I sure hope you’re right. I will gladly give up some MPG to give this truck the cahonnays it so badly needs. Trying to put off regearing till this slug’s paid off.

Just trying to waste some time waiting for my tune to be emailed and I saw a previous post where if i go to C:/ > vF Tuner > vF Tuner > Tacoma > (year)..... then load up my selected file, I can play around and edit my own tune, sounds like a good deal of fun maybe even make my own slight tune to hold me over until I get my emailed tune. Even though I paid about $400 for Orange Virus's tune I believe I should be able to try to make my own from the provided stock ECU... BUT it costs these "credits" to edit?? I only have 5 credits right now I guess. It costs 4 to edit the .VFT file from previously mentioned file directory. Leaving me with a single credit... okay point is... If I bought the program for $200 shouldn't I be able to edit as many files as I want for my truck right? I have got to be missing something here!!
