    Ours would be overkill and ignore the mess...

    I could be off on the order of things but water comes in from the well and goes through the salt and filters into the pressure tank before entering the house. It's what was already set up when we bought the house and it's through culligan. Pretty sure there are setups you can buy and DIY.

    The big tan tank on the right hold the salt. It's probably only half way full which is around 200lbs. Stuff is crazy heavy but the bags of 50lb are only around $6-8. I'm sure @JaCado could explain this better?
