Excuses, excuses. Dogs fit in cars, I've transported gas for my lawn mower in my car. Let your uncle be the one to tow stuff. I very RARELY ever tow anything.

Face it, you WANT a truck/SUV. Quit whining and get a car and DEAL with it if the price of gas is a concern.

to add to hodge...actual research doesn't mean going to an enthusiast site and asking their opinions

My Uncle lives 4 hours away. I meant that as in immediate family. In the winter, we haul fire wood and in the summer we haul tire bark for landscaping; hard to do with a sedan.

    and 2nd what susan said

dogs are safer in the cab...how often do you really HAVE to tow something? you have an uncle with a truck or suv...your buddy here has a tahoe...

sure a car may not be what you WANT...but youve repeated the gas cost concern more than once...

a vehicle for someone your age should be 2 things

    safe and reliable. period.

it should not define who you are...it should not be used to bump your ego or anything like that. it should not be a status symbol. it is a mode of transportation used to get you to and from school and maybe on a few dates. ESPECIALLY if you are not paying for it or your gas.

Dude, cut your parents some slack........ just buy what you can actually afford to keep (gas, maintenance, etc).... that would be a mature decision....

Again, buy a small SUV 4 cyl. to save tons of money and gas...There are countless numbers of them out there...For a reason-Good all around.

For the working thing, just buy a flat bed trailer.. It's too easy man...
We bought our trailer for $300.
