    2JZ swap done!

JK, waiting on parts to make the pile run again. I got a cylinder 1 and 4 misfire code intermittently which is on the same ignition coil, so I ordered new Denso ones to change both for good measure.

The spark plug wires were original to the truck, so I put new NGK ones but it still is misfiring pretty badly.

Engine bay looks clean asf. Love the red valve cover. Once I get a daily I plan on redoing all of mine.

Thank you! Just took a spray bottle of simple green and started wiping all the dust off the firewall and the visible bits. Valve cover is powdercoated by LC Engineering, and I painted the supercharger myself.

Used a friends mediocre drill press to very carefully drill 24 holes in the exterior corner brackets for my camper build. I need to enlarge the holes on the outside so you can actually get the head of the bolt through, anyone have any tips for drilling into aluminum at a 45 degree angle? Even with the smaller diameter holes started I still get deflection when the bit starts to make contact and am guessing I just have to deal with it...

    Added technical diagram for clarity.

I'm not sure exactly what your trying to do, but you've got a few options. Go very slow with high rpm, Dremel, center drill, end Mill, counter bore, spot face.

Yeah I know, hard to follow without a decent pic - but I think you’ve steered me toward what I need. Thanks.

I'm thinking I know what you're doing, in the last pick you're trying to enlarge those holes for the bolt head to pass through. If it were me and all I had was a drill press I'd just drill, it's an access hole no need to be perfect. Also are you trying to step up to the finish diameter? I would suggest not, all you really want is a pilot hole as large as the web in your finish drill. I might be completely off point though, feel free to clarify.

Just look at the build thread
Nope. I've torn up a lot of stuff on my truck but luckily the frame has always held up to my abuse.

QuadLock makes a rubber ball mount that fits Ram parts. I like the left location while driving, but still working on one-handing it lefty. Also have the QL moto Mount on my road bike, it’s rock solid.

Could try a shorter drill bit so you have less deflection. Or an end mill. Otherwise you'll just be frustrated.
