Got it leveled and raised an inch yesterday I was afraid it was going to be too high but my wife said it looked good.

How is the mountain bike scene down in and around (1 hour or less drive) austin? Will be moving there soon. Curious if I should spend any effort on working on the mtb if there's nothing to ride down there.

sweet deal. I’m in Rhode Island it’s pretty flat. I like a mix of technical climbs and downhill sections. Not a constant one way or the other.

You’ll be good down here. Plenty of trails in town and better trails within an hour of town in all directions. The newest addition is spider mountain and is worth searching and watchful a video or 2.

I forget how big Austin actually is. Most cities cut off and it becomes a different town. We explored what we could when we went but didn’t see much for trails, but also didn’t spend a lot of time looking.

thanks for the heads up I’ll have to check it out.

I cant wait to get out there! I pass by it all the time omw to visit my dad on Lake Buchanan.

It was literally PACKED last weekend. Every single chair full with a line to ride up! Lots and lots of campers with Toyotas too.

We should do a group ride and camp out there!!!

OK, it's been a long time coming, but with the help of a sympathetic mod some extra posts have been inserted at the beginning of the thread. This has allowed me to separate "the list" from our stalking images.

    SO...if you'd like to:
    - Go back and like the newly updated pics posts
    - Update the pic we have because your ride has changed dramatically since I first listed it
    - Have yourself added now that it's not increasingly difficult to do (long list was cumbersome since the site doesn't list images in the same order as they appear)
    - Submit additional meet pics now that's there's a separate post for it
    - Ignore this and move forward with the rest of your day

    ...you're welcome to do so.

Thanks for continuing to make this the best large local group on TW. I look forward to a time soon where it's safe for us to meet up in close contact and show off. Until then, keep being safe y'all!
