Is there still no “Oh Shit” grab handle on the drivers A-pillar of the 2020?

I like your optimism. With all that’s been happening, the ‘next month or so’ would be really great.

I’d love the grab handle too but by the pics it looks like it would stick out towards the driver and possible hinder your visibility. Would love to see a pic from the drivers POV.

It is a mirror copy of the passenger side made in the Toyota of China factory. Have a seat on the right side to evaluate.

My 2nd gen had the handle. It didnt obstruct my view anymore than the massive damn A-pillars do that they put in these trucks

All vehicles for the last 20+ year have large A pillars. I'll take the roof strength and crash protection any day.

I will likely purchase this, but only after I am comfortable with other's installation. Not a skeptic necessarily, just not a jumper on of first runs normally. Really like the idea.

Likely by mid August, early Sept.

Will take a couple months to manufacture in China and a month or so to surface ship to @KTJO 4x4 . Local shipping after that.

My steering wheel works just fine as a grab handle.

    My thoughts exactly!
I have one on my 1st Gen, couldn't care less about having one on my 3rd Gen.

A person could always weave one out of paracord. There are tons of channels on YouTube for adult male arts and crafts, and a lot of those EDC guys (people who carry too much shit in their pockets, carry knives to process boxes because nothing exciting ever happens to them EVER) have channels and maybe you could reach out to them for your handicapped handle
