Nice looking truck. I really like the proportions on the access cab. I got mine a couple months ago in Oregon as well. 6 Cyl 4wd SR. right after the rebate went up to 1500. Got the running boards and mudflaps with the truck. Upgraded the tires right away and did the foglights. No electric seat like you have though. :)

No trade in. That was the final OTD price including TTL. I dont' remember price of that section. I did tell them to take off 600 in hidden garbage fees though which they did.

So I finally picked up a 2020 Tacoma TRD OR 4x4, short bed, premium package, and advanced tech in Cement. I'm from Los Angeles and had to drive up to Oregon for it. There were literally 2 Tacomas with the premium package in California and 1 in Las Vegas that were cement. I've even checked Texas and AZ and they didn't have any. None of the dealers were willing to negotiate. The max that they were willing to give me was 500 off MSRP.

    MSRP: 44,902
    Price Paid: 41,911 before TTL
Los Angeles taxes are a killer, about 10%. The total came out to just a bit over 46k. I don't have the numbers in front of me.
    Dealer: Grants Pass Oregon Toyota

Car: Tacoma 4x4 OR, Short Bed in Cement
Additions: Premium Package, Advanced Tech, LED, Mudguards, and Floor Mats/Liners

    Only about 7% off. Bah.

Sounds like a really nice package and Cement is at a premium. Congratulations on your new Truck !

Sorry for the delayed response. Kendall charged the CA tax and registration fees and forwarded them and the registration info to my local DMV office. Other dealers in Oregon and Idaho that I spoke with would have done the same.

May be a stupid question, but does the factory spare wheel match the wheel of whatever trim package you have?

Damn good looking truck. Cement was one I was eyeballing too but I ultimately went with white. I love how the OR versions look straight from the factory. Modded or not, they look awesome right out of the gate. Even if you feel like you lost a few thousand dollars, just look at that truck and you won't care.

Just picked up a 2020 TRD Sport 4x4 DCLB with extras for $40.7k plus taxes. MSRP was 42.7. They wouldn’t budge much and I had to walk out to even get them to go lower than $500 off. Didn’t take the rebate and got the 0% interest.

I’m in San Diego and normally they are not willing to take much if anything off the MSRP on these trucks!

@Rtlife I would say that's a good deal with all the extras. I see the LED light package and that looks bad ass. The 0% is the real win there. Hard to get rebate and 0% together.

They sent mine to the local DMV office as well, but they aren't open. Also, they told me I needed to do a smog check, due to CA laws. Have you taken care of everything yet? I was wondering if you had to do the same.

I got the TRD Off Road with the 16" wheels, the spare does match the size 16".. But not stupid question at all, i've read posts here from some guys complaining about their spare wheel not matching the rest of the wheels size.. For instance, some of the Tacomas with 17" wheels package came with a 16" spare wheel..

Finalized a deal with a dealership in PA for a '20 TRD Offroad. Nothing additional fancy save the tech package and a few addt add ones (bed mat, mudguards, etc.)

    MSRP: $40,211
    Sales Price: $33,839
    OTD Price: $37,000

I live in NJ, so have to pay the NJ taxes which are more, plus I am -600 for my trade in, which sucks but with how reluctant all dealers are with trade ins now, I feel like I'm lucky that it's only 600. Some dealers were giving me $4,000 less in the trade in at one point.

i was given an OTD price of $41600 on a Sport with full LEDs, basic tech, black oval tubes, floor liners, mud guards. that was $8k down and the rest at 0%. MSRP on that vehicle is $40296 (incl delivery), then tax here (New York) is 8%, so that's like $2k off MSRP if my cypherin' is correct.

i walked. i dunno, maybe that's not a bad deal but it's more than i expected to pay. last vehicle i bought, i had to drive 3 hours to Massachusetts to get the deal i wanted, dealers in the Lower Hudson Valley don't budge much.

Yeah, I'd walk. If you didn't see my above post, grinding away in this area can get you to a better price if you aren't picky about colors/add ons. Just continue to shop around. I was able to get down from about 37.5k sales price to 33.8k in PA (Trevose-Feasterville area) and OTD to 37k. I'd recommend shopping more south in that area if you're not in upstate NY.

yeah, i live in the Peekskill area so not really upstate. i can't imagine going towards NYC would be helpful, but i am in PA regularly so i thought of casting a net in that direction.

i'd be quite happy with the $37k OTD you got. if i'm able to get to around $38k i'd take it.

Yeah, I'd def recommend looking in PA. Granted it'll probably closer to Stroudsburg than Philly area, but I feel probably still cheaper. It's def possible, you just need to whittle away and find a few dealers to work with. They'll end up beating each other out. I'd try to get a quote from a larger dealer in your area. Good example for me was a dealer called "Holman Toyota" in South Jersey. They offer decent prices right off the bat right on their website, so it's easy to have a good starting point. From there, just a few days of working the dealers and you'll have a good deal. If you don't have a trade, even better because the dealer won't have to worry about taking on used car inventory so you could even get a better deal than me.
