We must have missed each other. I put in at Bushy Part to break in the motor going towards the harbor. Harbor was
rocking thanks to the boat traffic. So we turned around and came back past Daniel Island. @dan0mite did you dock
up at Shem Creek? We like Waters Edge. I just need to get the balls to pull up and dock.

If we all get on the water Saturday we should met up. I'll grab Adam @ahspurlock :headbang:

Is Limehouse a chill launch or is it crazy bad as Leeds Ave?

I’m really happy with it. The 90hp Yamaha leaves you wanting more power though. What size is your motor? Looks bigger

Plenty of motor for me. I only have big balls when on two wheels. On the water I try to be safe.
Oyster beds on mud flats will get you every time at high tide.

Honestly it depends on the time of day and tides. The current moves a bit stronger through there than at Leeds. I haven’t had any problems there before.

I docked at Saltwater Cowboys and had some drinks with friends I met there. Parallel parked that bitch between two boats.

Docking is really easy once you understand a few things with how the boat steers from the rear and how it’ll react with current and wind. Can definitely be overwhelming and I can help if you want.

Backing into a slip is another challenge all together but relatively easy too. When I bought this bigger boat, I spent a few hours when it wasn’t busy backing into slips with and against the current and wind just to get a feel of it.

Let me know if/when you want to get out to practice docking.

    @dan0mite

How do you two mount your fire extinguisher on your boats. I’d like to mount mine in the console but don’t want to drill holes for the bracket.

At the moment mine is sitting in my electronics box. I’ve been debating getting a roll-bar extinguisher mount and mounting it under the captains chair. I’ve already been drilling holes in my boat. It’s not that bad. I installed my VHF radio, a new stereo head unit, speakers, and fixed a bunch of wiring for the accessories the last owner messed up. I have to get my t-top canvas replaced at some point this year.

Part of the reason I went with a Pioneer boat is due to the clean lines and the boat
isn't chopped up into a lot of compartments. I might see if I can attach the bracket
to the bolts in the console from the front seat. Use what has already been drilled.

Mine is just laying in the console. I do need to mount it though and planned on a bar mount.

That first one is legit. I need to measure my boat and order my awning from Laporte’s. They are located off Dorchester rd and make amazing t-top boat covers and sun shades. They scanned my whole boat and made a custom t-top cover. My tall ass bow rail made my $200 Amazon cover rip cause it held water.
