I'm glad to say I've never encountered any of that while on the trail. I've encountered assholes before that think they own the trail and expect you to move for them no matter if it's harder for you to do so than them, but never something like this. The rock throwing thing is what gets me the most, I get that stupid ass teens are going say shit to provoke people. My friends and I were idiots too when we where in high school. But throwing rocks at someone or someone's vehicle is fucked up and asking for someone to beat your ass or pull a weapon on you.

Sooner than later they're going to do it to the wrong person and learn a hard lesson in respect for others.

Gorgeous pic of your living area man... Wow. I really do need to get out to Sierras at least once.
Isn't that the Sierra range? I thought that's where you were. Freaking beautiful

Oh they really were throwing rocks? 16 year olds you never know how serious to take them, my bad for making light of their situation. Oops. Yeah that could suck. I dunno if I'd feel threatened by 16 year olds but we're all different :D Plus with username I figured it was a foreigner that didn't know how to take our youths or something

yeah the rock throwing is messed up, I mean if they yelled some crap at me like they did to that guy I'd probably just flip them off and carry on my way...not worth engaging with some teenage wanna be gangsters over some random insults they probably yell at everyone they see. But throwing rocks at someone's truck is a line you don't cross
