They seem fine, I got new tires on and it all balanced out. Suspension is fucked somewheres though, something is knocked out or bent and I'm not sure what yet

I think they only thing thrown was a 'crip' sign, and an insult to that seperate vehicle, guy just says the kid in back just had a pile of rocks.
Sounds like homie was just intimidated by the kids. And that does suck. And is wrong. But homie can be a little bit stronger...

If rocks were thrown/or damage caused, damage besides the guy's ego:rolleyes:, of course you do something..... maybe. :D

I'm not making excuses for the kids, but poor off roader all feeling sad and depressed and posting trying to find the kids, no need to let something that dumb ruin your trip/evening etc... I dunno, sooner he let's it go is sooner he'll start feeling better, at least that's been my personal experience in similar situations :D

Oh man, I wanted to share this here too. I can't be the only one here who hadn't actually seen how the lower ball joints design improved through the different gens right? :D
Well I stole these images and I can't credit who deserves it but I was searching for the info to show a friend to help explain it. These pics made it all very clear in my head..... Remember I'm an IFS noob and only had experience with torsion bar IFS(my justification:D)

yup certainly the Achilles heel of our trucks, aside from frame rust if you live where that's an issue

Never hear of the 2nd gens having LBJ issues after they redesigned it for them

Also, don't worry I'm not quoting you to tell you, just since we're talking it, but you know that lower ball joint recall they had on them?
I learned it's specific to 2001-2004. Also it wasn't recalled because of the design or anything like that, but on a bunch of the ball joints that Sumitomo supplied Toyota, the polished ball had a defect, a scratch/score, that Sumitomo quality control didn't catch before Toyota installed and sold. I think I downloaded the TSB even, yep, here 'tis:

Ah good to know, I knew it had to do with a bad batch due to a scratch on the ball joint that made it more likely to fail if dirt/water were to get into it or something like that. But I had thought it was only the 01s that were affected. I did run my VIN for my 04 a few years ago when I needed to replace mine, but it wasn't covered under the recall
