Got the Ruger PC Charger with a Holosun HS407C sighted in this weekend. Dang it's fun to shoot! I chose to sight it in at 100 yards. I know that's about the limit for 9mm but I figure if I sight in at 100, it should be pretty close in between that distance as well.

Yes I know the arm brace looks like an UGG boot. :D But the brace itself was free and all the folding braces are out of stock.

The brace is a plastic/rubber kinda material. I'm not too worried about it. Once the folding braces come back in stock, it's getting replaced anyways. This was just a stop gap.

If you have the same one I have which is the 507c-gr with the green dot/circle then I think it's an HE model and not HS.

I have used primary arms and holosun dots a lot but I don't think I've every actually used any one of their mounts. I have my Holosuns on DD and Geissele mounts. Not saying the stock mounts aren't good, just have never actually used one haha.

I put the suppressor height sight on. They are drift sights and very easy to install. I will warn you that removal of the factory sight it is a bitch and not for the feint of heart. If you are afraid of breaking something, most gunsmiths will do the job for 25-30 bucks. However, if you are going to own anything besides glocks, it is a useful skillset to learn how to drift sights. I have used the Delta Point Pro, RMO and SRO. The DPP is a good trade off between the small field of vision on the RMO and the biggest field on the SRO.

Ive always installed all my own sights the only one that ever bothered me was my 9 shield. My sight pusher wouldn't budge it so i made a jig and put it up against my 20 ton press and i won. Im about to spend some money now thanks.

I remember trying to remove the sights off my first smith. I swore they were welded in place. That was when I built my first portable gun vice. I will also admit to using a steel punch to drift that sight, after I broke my favorite brass drift punch.

I completely trashed the factory sights on my 9 shield and somehow never scratched the gun but my 45 shield was completely different those sights were a breeze

I'm looking to put a Holosun 507k/407k (k for micro) on my X compact. Smaller than the DPP, Romeo Pro, Venom, etc. Same size/footprint as the Shield red dots basically. I reached out to Holosun about expected shipping.. and they said this month. I'm hoping to get a call from my LGS by June!

It's supposed to share the same footprint as the DPP.. (and the Romeo Pro).. so that's why I'm waiting for them to come in. I want to see if it fits on my XCompact. C&H Precision makes plates though. But I think Sig changed the mount in 2019 or so, hence the new Romeo Pro/DPP release. And now Holosun with the K series.

I've been researching like mad lately to figure out what will work and what doesn't. Been finding conflicting information for sure.
