Is there still no “Oh Shit” grab handle on the drivers A-pillar of the 2020?

I did a quick search and it looks like you are on to something with the handicapped handle.

    TW never ceases to amaze

The paracord handles seem great on Jeeps or roll cages where there is a horizontal surface to mount to. Otherwise, options are always nice to have. For me, the paracord handles don't seem to work for the Taco. I am just glad that the option that I like is finally in development.

Yes since it’s important to you it’s good that this need is being filled.

I have never owned a truck with one of those grab handles so I am not missing it now.

The passenger handle of my truck gets used by my 5’-2” tall 92 year old mother when she needs a ride somewhere.

I am kinda old and my body is breaking down, but I still use the rear tire as a step when I hop into the bed.

    Different strokes for different folks.

    Cheers

For me, the problem is the usual tiny parking spots and our tight garage. Props to Costco for being just about the only place left with generous-sized spots. Life's no big deal when I can open the door more than the first notch. Sliding in and out is goodness.

The problem is dealing with the first notch and getting my noggin in. Not a huge deal, but the handle would make those tight situations easier.

Yeah I still can’t even get into the truck properly. I can get into the 01 smooth as butter. But when I get into the 3rd gen I look like a toddler fucking trying to climb onto a swing for the first time. I just wiggle in when nobody is looking.

I think it is the seat bolster combined with the chunky dash. Small target, short-ish legs, and tall torso all working against the easy entry.

I do like the size inside though. I don't need another inch in any direction. It's proper.

It is. It’s my favorite of all time. Love it there, not too big, not too small.
