Agreed, but life is too short to let these type of things naw on you forever. I hope the establishment takes care of him.

    Nothing...yet
F5 experts, I need your input. I've got a bone stock 2019 SR5 running 245/75/16 tires. My understanding is that the the 16" F5's in the 3.50BS offer roughly an inch of "poke" vs the 4.50, and the 3.50 also gives more of a "dish/lip" vs the 4.50. Would a 3.50 work for me if I stick with the stock tire size? I'm not lifting my truck for a while. The tires I want to go with are Hankook Dynapro M/T in stock sizing 245/75/16. Thanks for the help!

EDIT: Forgot to add, the 16" 3.5BS has an offset of -25mm

Well, let’s see how much I can clean this up (the other side looks exactly the same). Wish me luck...

Throw that ^^^ in a bucket, cover with white vinegar, new looking drum tomorrow morning. After initial spray-off, rinse with baking soda dissolved in water to neutralize the (acid) white vinegar. Protective coating of your choice (outside). Amaze your friends!

That is a great idea. But I wasn’t really planning on removing it... I don’t even know if they will want to come off without putting up a terrible fight.

Didn’t quite get as far as I’d have liked (wanted to paint today too) but I’m very satisfied with how they both turned out. I should be able to paint them both tomorrow after work. Then, as soon as I get the front of the truck on jack stands, I’ll have the wheels and tires ready for a road trip to have the F5s mounted!

I’m just a bit OCD about stuff too, which doesn’t help at all. And I’ve had this project on my “to do list” for years. The F5s were just the excuse I needed to get it done!

You should be fine. I plan to run the same wheel setup with 265/75s on stock suspension

Just to to update you guys, Discount Tires is now saying they will only send the wheels out to “their guy” for repair. In the meantime I will be shit out of luck with no wheels on my work truck. They won’t even refund the money they charged for the careless install. I definitely don’t want them touching any of my vehicles ever again.
