Replaceing balljoints what is the best brand for the money?

Well my balljoints seem like they have seen there better days, and the lowers are leaking grease it looks like. And since Im buying all new suspension here pretty soon I might as well replace all of the balljoints to be on the safe side. So whats the best brand of upper and lower ball joints to buy to work with the factory control arms? I would like it to be a decent price also being a broke highschool kid. Thanks!

 

i got new factory uppers from the dealership for about $38 a piece. not a bad price for oem equipment. not sure about the lowers but i did notice the other day one mine is starting to leak also.

I would go the Toyota OEM route but not since they had a recall on the lower balljoints and those are the bad ones on mine.

Thats what I read but why the Moog's? Are they like stronger then the others or what?

 

Moog has better materials and quality control.

 

Go and get new ones under the recall.They give you an alignment as well no charge.
