Got one on last night. SUPER impressed with these! Beefy and makes for a much cleaner look vs to usual chop shop look.

Has anyone contacted Alpine Designs recently? Sent him an email a couple days ago and no word back.

I called them and ordered new bushings for my body mounts at the end of last week. They were open then

Yes I got a hold of him today. I called him and he said they should be building them today/tomorrow and shipping tomorrow or Friday.

I’m having a rattling/clunking noise with these. The bolt is hitting on the side of the bracket hole I believe. I can see a rub mark on the bolt. Most noticeable at low speeds. Initially thought it might be a ball joint, but took the bolt out for a test drive and the noise goes away. I tried using a smaller 3/8” bolt and insulating with a piece of garden hose but still getting noise. Pretty annoying. Anyone else have this issue?

I do not have that noise. I have squeaking noise when I'm moving and turning at super slow speeds. For example: backing out of my garage and driveway. Other than that I don't hear anything like what you are describing.

Myself and 2 other friends have creaking / squeaking at the bushings at low speeds also. Anyone have a fix for this such as applying grease, antiseize, etc..

I have yet to install my mounts, as I also have yet to get my 35's. Wouldn't a sleeve (metal, or brass, copper) of sorts fit on the bolt?? Then just really work the bushings over and tighten down?? Would this be a solution??

I’ve tried everything from just getting the nut snug to cranking on it so much that the bushings start to bulge. I’ve tried wrapping a smaller 3/8” bolt in garden hose to help isolate it and still getting noise. Feels like something is loose and knocking (much like a ball joint). I’m going to keep at it and will let you all know how it goes.

It just occured to me. I member watching either on this forum somewhere or youtube maybe, but they had to weld a tube that would span between the top inner portion (inside the cab) and the bottom part of the frame to prevent the bolt from dancing around.
I wanna say they welded a big washer on top and bottom, then the metal sleeve, and voilla!!! Zero movement from the bolt.. Lots of welding tho...

Looking into these. Any regrets? Sounds like a lot of noise and some blown bushings?

No regrets for me. The amount of noise on my truck is tolerable. Not a nuisance or annoyance, but it is there.

    Did you self install?

since these are custom fab I doubt any shop would know how to help install?

Literally just cut the old mount off and use the bolt to locate where the new one gets welded on. Any shop could do that

I put some grease on the poly bushings on my radiator support. No squeaking there.. so that may help?
