    Monday...

    W.T.F. are y'all drinking?

If you have this and haven't opened it yet, :boink::boink::boink::boink:, I highly recommend it. Peanuts. That's pretty much where I'm at still for the nose and taste. Strong. Like 3 Ring Circus. The burney is on the back end. Builds nicely. and throughout that whole time... Peanuts. I keep trying to spit the shells out

At the risk of ruining a friendship, I'll only theorize this idea and NOT ACTUALLY MAKE IT... Booker's 2020-01 and Skrewball...:rofl:

Whole nother realm of peanut whiskey.

Skrewball is a frat party peanut butter liquor in comparison. Like Jäger...

Booker's is a refined experience that you'll want a repeat of. But it still has that spice and heat at the end of a high proofer.

I have deff had that exact shot and it’s quite the flavor you are looking for. Sweet like a smuckers uncrustable. Can only handle one for dessert.

If I can ever locate skrewball I’ll have to try it out. My wife wants to try it she saw someone doing shots of it out of bacon shot glasses that had been sealed with chocolate.

Like Zach said, it's a different kind of "peanut". Well, I'm speculating a bit on this latest batch ;).

It's like how some bourbons will have notes of vanilla and then there is vanilla flavored whiskey. The vanilla notes of the former don't taste like the latter.

Booker's, as a whole, has a reputation of having a peanut "funk" or a peanut brittle profile. Roasted peanut/peanut shells, baking spices or black pepper, and a kick-in-the-teeth high proof punch. Those are some of my FAVORITE batches. They got a little away from those roots in 2018, started off 2019 on the wrong foot, then started to come back to that signature profile with 2019-02. I'm super excited about Granny's Batch. Everything I've heard is all about that peanut funk. Fingers crossed it delivers.

Gonna have to try it after your breakdown. I didn’t catch any peanut in the country ham which is what I have most recently tried
