Sounds like a perfect set up! You would want to do some projects even if it were perfect to make it your own anyways, this way you at least are doing ones that actually need doing

Is it close enough to the regular house where you can jump over most weekends?

On last Friday’s VCR ( Vehicle Condition Report) , I noted that throughout the whole day I heard a belt whining and a pulley chirping. They replaced the dump cylinder and didn’t address my concerns. They signed off on it and I took it out . I ended up in a windy road playing traffic officer while road service came and replaced the belt. It was. As enough that I had to dump before I even began and got a 1 1/2 hour late start.
Had to rely on coworkers to bail me out .
How many of these :annoyed: are allowed? :anonymous:

My company had to furlough 12,500 people, but hopefully they'll bring me back. They let me hold onto the phone, laptop, and car. I hope those are good signs

Here's hoping for ya, but I'd say that's more good than bad at least from outside looking in.

Do you own anything to attach a grapple?

If renting, I'd get a skidsteer with a grapple bucket for a day or two, those things make quick work of stuff and renting them avoids all the maintenance owning them requires. Also a tracked one would be easy on any ground its going over.

As far as where to go, locate your local hardware store or tractor dealer and they should have a rental department.

    Morning all. Happy Tuesday!

It's like a mile down the road, probably less. I drive it with my tractor on a regular basis :anonymous:

You go to the end of the road that my house is on, take a right, and 100 yards later you take a left and you're on the camp road. Personally, I'd have preferred something a little further away, but I'll admit that it does make 'going to camp' convenient.

Day two of my week off. And continuation of lawn projects. Yesterday edging bricks led to digging a new drainage trench. Home ownership is such fun...........

I’m sure there’s a lot I just don’t know how public that info was.

probably a good sign. R.I. doesn’t have the one week hold on unemployment right now during all this too.

My bike project continues. New handle bars and grips are on order. Upgrading the brakes and levers too since I will already need new cables due to the wider bars. I can't do disk brakes as bike is not set up for them so upgrade from cantilever to V brakes it is!

As someone in IT, that's a really good sign. We try to be really vigilant about getting laptops back quick because a surprising amount of employees tend to think laptops are our parting gift to them. We don't usually let people keep them on extended leaves of absence or anything.

Sometimes I'm not informed right away when someone leaves, and getting it back after they've walked out the doors for the last time is always frustrating.
