our site is really bad about that when people are let go or leave.

We are allowed to keep company cell phones which have been replaced in an upgrade. So I have an old SE, I got an iPhone 7 on an upgrade. They don’t track it to the T so I’m using the SE for work still and the 7 for personal use. If I got laid off I’d be expected to turn in the 7. But that’s it. Well, and the computer and whatnot. But I brought my own keyboard to the office (mechanical keyboard nut)

By the way. We have reservations tonight at Massimo in providence. There’s a few restaurants opening up but a lot aren’t. No way for them to set up outdoors and it’s not worth it at the capacities they’re being allotted.

@mach1man001 hey Rob, I will most likely in the distant future be getting some stuff from the TW express for @CttAznRanger and will be heading out that way to meet up with him towards the central MA area. I will let you know so you can meet up with me so I can get you that antenna mount.

Us too. I'm cc'd on all of the appointment letters, but about half the time when someone leaves no one tells me. We don't do phones (we pay stipends for a few top level admins to use their own), but I took over the access cards a while back because before the secretaries handled it and they kept no record, they'd have 100 programmed and just hand them out without any care in the world. I wiped out the systems and gave everyone fresh cards so I know exactly who has what card now.

I want to take over the rest of the security stuff (keys and alarm codes) because those are horrible too--so many people with masters and grandmasters who have no business having them. I'd love to collect everyone's keys and give them back only what they need--everyone knows it's a problem but nobody wants to be the bad guy. Unfortunately, that is far outside of IT.

Laptops are precious right now. I used to have a decent stockpile of gently used ones from staff who retired and their position wasn't refilled--not so much anymore. I don't know what it is about people working from home, but they've broken more in these few months than I normally see in an entire year. Just last week I had one guy's son spill water on his and another person broke their charger and destroyed the port on the laptop at the same time.

I would just live there all summer. Good luck with it, sounds like a great set up imo

We'll probably spend a pretty good amount of time there. It's a little bit of a hassle with the yardbirds right now (the meat birds need more attention than the layers) but not too bad.
The plan was to AirBNB it for a # of weekends/weeks this summer, but that has been put on hold for a bit due to the 'Rona.

Well the handlebars that the shop was.going to order are sold out so I did some digging. I found some carbon bars that are even wider and not too expensive.
Question is do I want to order carbon bars for an almost 30yo bike that is going to be relinquished to bike path/campground duty?

I wouldn't. Do you know the clamp size and width you're after?

this was the trench. It used to run along the driveway.

    D50F7103-3A6E-4C15-80DF-D22E9F823D00.jpg

now it runs through the middle of the mulch bed.

stone edges are new. Working on the ones to the left side of the front door today. Then mulch later this afternoon. Wanted to put down river stones or smooth stones, much preferred. But the cost difference at least this year we’ll just toss mulch down and be good with that for another year.

Back yard has a bunch of dog holes to fill and a section of gravel that used to be bordered by these bricks. Need to rip up the gravel and that stupid anti weed landscaping mat under it. Level it and get some grass seed on it.

I think that might be it for my landscaping this week. We’ll see. And the ongoing task of trying to recover my lawn into something at least green.

It's a 25.4 clamp diameter. Most bars with that clamp size are limited on width. These are the ones I found.

    https://www.jensonusa.com/Ritchey-Comp-Alloy-Bar

    https://www.jensonusa.com/Answer-Alumilite-Riser-Bar

    https://www.ebay.com/i/274306432849...TihXiyIVzM5FstZwJNJH4-gUQzT7o22BoChrQQAvD_BwE

I'm concerned about the last set as the only thing that I find that say the diameter is on that page. That plus I know they started the bigger diameter because of the wider bars. These are carbon though, so :notsure:

you should come on down, we can give you a shovel or rake and you can look all you want just as long as the tool is working.

Its crazy how much crap there is to do in the yard and around the home when you don't go anywhere for 2 months.

How about the stem, is the steer tube threaded, or threadless?

    I
It's threaded. I have a flex steam that has the 25.4mm clamp diameter and I want to keep it.
