Disclaimer: This was NOT meant to be a political discussion - do not turn it into one!!!

How many political type phone calls have you recevied lately? I never answer the phone when its these type of calls.

The last two days I've had 2 messages on my answering machine each day. This morning.... in a 1.5 hour period, I've already received two messages on the answering machine.

I'll be glad when this is over!! Looks like the political campaigns are exempt from the DO NOT CALL LIST??

I get them all the time but I rarely answer my land line so I just delete the messages. It makes me laugh to think that somone one is dumb enough to think they can call my house and and "educate" me about candidates and issues and get me to change my mind. That's as stupid and giving a shit what Jane Fonda has to say.

Nothing wrong with that - you gotta do what you gotta do.

How are the people to deal with? Are majority of them interested or pissed off?

I either answer the call and hang up immediately, answer followed by a scream, then hang up.

    THAT is BULLSHIT!!!

That is one of the problems of "higher" education these days. They try harder to turn young minds toward liberal ideals then they do trying to educated young minds. Why can't they be neutral and let the person make up their own mind.

(but maybe they gave you a choice...and you chose that way...that's messed up...but fine by me).

BTW...back on topic...we get at least 6 political calls a day. Can't wait for Wednesday!

The funny thing about many of the political calls I get are actually a recorded message and if the candidates read the laws in this state they would find it is illegal to use a recorded message unless an actual human speaks first.

When I get a call from someone it just means I'm not going to vote for them. I hate all the calls / emails I've been getting. It is counter productive when they do it to me.

Not sure that list prevents the political calls.

The frequency of calls & junk mail is stupid-crazy this year.
    I'm grateful for caller I.D.

Political calls are exempt from the do not call list...I live in California and for the past week we haven't been answering the home phone at all...It's ridiculous, these folks are out of control...You should see my mailbox too....Full of campaign literature...If I receive less than 10 pieces of campaign literature a day I'd be surprised...I go straight from the mailbox to the recycling bin everyday...

Some are nice, some are pissed but mostly people supporting it. I was given a list of registered democrats so they were usually happy about it.

They just said for 250 extra credit points go support a local political party and the democrats happened to be at san jose state that day. Im personally undecided.

Oh thanks for the Negative rep somebody.

Here in Bako we're getting all sorts of political phone calls, and we are getting pretty damn tired of them.
Can't wait till after tomorrow, won't have to hear them anymore.
