Weekend Trip to ATL any Camping Spots?

Heading to ATL for the weekend. Any good camping spots? I got a stock tacoma, looking for easy trails

How far away from Atlanta are you willing to go to trail/camp? Most of the goodest stuffs are up closer to the national forests.

Pick any off-road trails on that. Everything is pretty mild and most are even 2WD friendly.

Beyond that, there's TONS of gravel forest roads and camping spots in the national forests. Really just take your pick and ride.

No im not, im coming from DC down 85. but got to head to Jonesboro first and pick up my GF.

Nothing to speak of anywhere near ATL. There are some good spots in NE part of the state if you get off 85 near Buford and go north.

 

I was kind of joking at first, till I read the Jonesboro part. If thats Tennessee, I think my skids will be in Knoxville are by the end of the weekend. Are you headed back to Jonesboro to drop off you girlfriend?
