Curious, why clutch was removed & what clutch you replaced with?

That is a great question and it has to do with the longest, most expensive troubleshooting adventure i've ever been on with a car...ever. if anyone wants more details let me know but here are the highlights.

This is one of 4 total clutch sets i bought to resolve a horrible clutch release point issue. Basically the throwout bearing of the performance clutch i had failed. In effort to get my truck off the side of the road i over adjusted the master cylinder (this is where the problem started).

I bought this clutch, had it put in the truck and the clutch pedal readjusted but we couldn't get the pedal release point anywhere near right. I jumped on the phone with excedy and they sent me over shop drawings and such and everything was the right part, assembled height etc.

I bought a parts store cheapy clutch, had the same issue, then bought an oem toyota clutch and had the same issue.
I rode with the oem clutch until i couldn't deal with it anymore. I finally bought a new master cylinder, clutchmasters tob bearing kit with shims and an excedy 2+ clutch and said "f it, i'll replace everything with something different and i'll set my own free air space". Well when i pulled it all apart i found this (which was "replaced" along with the everything else about 37 times)

    20200412_113411.jpg

The short and sweet was i spent 3,000$, my truck sat on a lift for 2 months and all over a broken bit of plastic and an inability for people to do what they say they did.

How much lift do the springs provide?

So i could be wrong, but i believe the springs will only work for long travel applications and will be around 2" of lift. I believe for most stock travel applications you would want a 13-14" coil in either a 2.0 or 2.5
