There is always something to hit. :D

Apparently I bashed the flange of the rear pinion seal on a large rock. No leaks but it made a rhythmic grinding noise with every driveshaft rotation. By day 3 it had self-clearanced enough that I couldn't hear it.

I'm just glad the truck survived the weekend with no body dents, no shattered lights, sharkfin antenna not broken, and tires not cut. It's pinstriped AF but doesn't show up in photos :D

In other news, the 2020 grille with the 1/2" higher radar mount worked well, as did the headlights.

I hope all of you guys are signing the petitions that are circulating and writing letters to the politicians forcing this on us.

Based on this ever-evolving list, ALL of us stand to lose something, it's clearly not just about the good ol' AR15. Hell, some asshole in Toronto killed a bunch of innocent people with a white panel van on a sunny day one day, because he couldn't find a girlfriend.

I see a lot more of those white vans in my daily travels then I see AR15's. Get involved or lose them all.

    There's a petition point #4

Re-sending this to remind everyone that tomorrow is the cutoff for new members being allowed to vote in the CPC leadership race. If you were planning to get a membership, the time is now.
    5 Days in
Its been 5 days (6 by the time yo u read this) since the liberals decided to blame legal gun owners for crimes committed by a deranged individual using firearms that were illegally obtained. We are being made the scapegoats for things that have absolutely nothing to do with us.
We know that this is not fair, we know that it is not justice for the victims and we know that this will do nothing to make society safer, but the truth is that the Gov't does not care. The have an agenda and they will continue to push it. Look at countries like the UK and you can see the template for what they want to do here.

Whats going on with the shotguns??
I've had a few people reach out to me about this. The lawyers for the CSSA, CCFR and NFA have all come to the conclusion that based on how the law is written, 10 & 12 gauge shotguns with removable chokes are affected by the OIC.
The conclusion is based on the fact that when measuring a barrel for length, the law stipulates that all removable attachments (including chokes) be taken off the firearm.
When that same standard is applied to measuring the bore of the firearm, many 10 & 12ga are in excess of 20mm.

But the minister has already said that is not the intention...

Intention has nothing to do with it, we have seem time after time that the gov't has no problem pedaling blatant lies, but even if they are being straight forward with us this time, the problem is that "in excess of 20mm" is the text of the law and as we have seen many time in the past that the RCMP has revised the interpretation of the law (as happened with the 10/22 mags, the cz 858 etc.) So as long as its written in the law, there is nothing stopping them from making that decision 5 year down the road and now suddenly we can only own shotguns with fixed chokes.

    So what can we do?
Well I'm glad you asked. There are a couple of actions that we can take to start pushing back on this.

    1. Get a Membership in the CPC. This is the most urgent and time sensitive thing that you can do. You need to have joined before May 14th to be able to vote in the August leadership race. It only cost $15 for the membership. Do not give more, the leaders will need to prove that they are committed to safeguarding our culture before they get anything else from us. Also probably best not to give them your phone number.

    2. Join the CCFR or the CSSA. Both of these organizations are already engaged in the fight and need our support. The CCFR has announced that they are in the process of filing a Charter Challenge, this will cost money and they will need all the help they can get.

    3. Flood your MP and Parliament with letters, emails and phone calls. I keep saying this in every emails because it is important that you do this even if your MP is liberal, let them know that you are a law abiding firearm owner and will be out canvassing for their opponent next election. Get your friends and family to do the same.

    4. Sign this petition. Get your friends and family to do the same. Yes, I know they ignored the last petition, but this is a legitimate way for us to register our opposition to these unjust changes to the law.

I will continue to update everyone on whats happening and things that we can do. This is the time to act, we re all in this together.
"First they came for the automatic rifles, and I did not speak out because I did not have an automatic rifle.

Then they came for the "military" rifles, and I did not speak out because I did not have a "military" rifle.

Then they came for the handguns, and I did not speak out because I did not have a handgun.

Then they came for my hunting rifle and there was no one left to speak for me."

    Thank you and Stay safe,
    Omkaar

@Toms2Yotas be sure to email your MP. I emailed mine (Conservative David MacKenzie) and he assured me he was not in support of the fast one turdeau pulled.

That's the second time he's lucked out on a serious issue with just a ripped wire...

He's either got a guardian angel,
or evil gnomes eating his wires.

Getting rid of my old fold down hitch carrier I put together. Ran it on the Swisha trip. It survived. Needs a few tweaks but otherwise works well. It only has one fuel carrier, the other was taken off and sold. Pm if interested.
