    AFR is the only one I wouldn't go without. Kinda the end all be all number to watch. If that goes wrong, bad things follow.

    The cats are definitely restrictive. That was my reasoning for deleting them.. thought I had some restriction issues.

    I've mentioned in here before, but I occasionally get a surging sensation under random WOT scenarios. From a dig... From a roll. Sometimes when I bury it, it'll pull, then start to stutter/surge/buck.. and will continue to do so until I let off the accelerator, then roll back into it. No codes. Nothing crazy with AFR readings, minus it still showing rich. I try to replicate it while taking some logs, and nothing. Gonna try some more this week actually.. it just did it again last week.

    I had some funky stuff going on as well, like surging and random blips while under different throttle scenarios.. my latest tune from Justin seems to have rectified all of my issues though. I don't know what he did, but it worked and the truck is very happy now. I think it could use some richening up under WOT though.

    Too many variables. I’m still convinced that long tube equal length headers will be far better than shortys throughout the RPM range on a 1grfe

    we would prob seriously think abut LTH if we were not in CA. Similar to @12TRDTacoma trying to keep as CA "legal" as we can or at least seem that way. I am curious to see this bypass he is thinking about. The Shorty's allow us to tack on a carb OE number which the LTH do not.

    Why is the blower too lid off? Other work or is it required to loosen the header bolts?

    Shit bolted onto other shit, and junk.
    The Topside Creeper is KEY. Taking off the blower lid lets you get after the header bolts topside without twisting yourself through the wheel well.

    Oh don't be silly, it can't be that bad. Maybe on a stock truck it is because everything is lower but on a 2-3 inch lift truck you should be good.

    Those equal length are a pretty tight fit. Did mine underneath with trans pulled and still had to disconnect steering linkage on drivers side.

    Lift, pedal commander, led foglights, led interior lights, led back ups, led under lighting, urd tcai, led headlights, methanol injection, 76mm tb, hood struts, dif breather mod, ratiotek trans kit, x-series gauges, true cool trans cooler, belt wrap mod, 2.8 pulley
    took myself and another member 15hrs with a lift.

    I am going to do spark plugs and install a sensor for IAT at the back of the manifold. So I just took it off before starting the headers, in the hopes that I'd have a bit more room to loosen the header bolts.

    I love that topside creeper, more than I thought I would. I have a bad upper back and it's saving my life.

    parts and stuff
    were you blind, drunk, drugged and just had a mild case of the dumb? hardest part for me was getting the steering shaft to separate at the slip joint. it wouldn't slip. once that was out the way mine went in to issue and wasn't that hard. even with the TC Coil over bucket gussets in the way.

    none of the above. botched stud removal cost me 4hrs. then assembled saw the steering shaft had slipped and that side was a re-do. i had the blower on so that slowed things down too.
