Yes, this is a solid bushing.

Pretty much, everyone should buy this and bring it to their install day.

"Better" is relative depending on your goals. The bushing is more durable and prevents vibrations resulting from excessive wear to the needle bearing caused by a lift. But it is most likely a higher friction bearing resulting in a potential loss of fuel economy.

Yup. ECGS is highly recommended after lifting your truck.

I don't think you'll notice a change in MPG from switching the bearing. At least I have never heard of that before. That would be funny if you dropped 3 MPG because of it though hahaha, but I seriously doubt it'd be measurable.

Thanks brother. If any other people have questions send em my way and I'll get them all answered tomorrow!

So from the very limited research I’ve done, front locker could cause you to break things (improper use obviously).

Already have the rear locker on its way, and I can’t help but feel the urge to the front as well because of the whole “might as well” logic.

    and the ECGS too haha

Three sets of instructions for break-in all with different miles to travel and cool down time.
    10-20 miles, 1 -3 times
    20-40 minute cool down.

    A bit confusing.

Agreed, Tomorrow will be our first upgrade, we can see what they say now for break-in vs website. Will update as we get final info.

    Easiest break-in:

First 45 miles, 3 different 15 miles trips and stop for 30 min. between each trip.

Then drive the remaining 500 doing no more than 45 miles at a time without a 40-50min break. No hard accelerations, no flooring it on the on-ramps, etc.

Fluctuate speed on the freeway. Do 65 for a few min, then 70, then 62, etc.

It’s pretty fool proof. People get too scared...don’t be, just drive like a grandma and take breaks.

It does make a difference if you are driving a distance to the shop.

The guy from Vegas will take 8 hours to get home

Sooo if you’re adding a front locker should you still install the ECGS bushing?
