I just watched a video on it. Pretty neat. I thought that's how all tires got mounted.

Ugh I'll never use that place again. Those assholes took 4 hours to balance my tires once and didn't even ask if I wanted the TPMS swapped over.

Interesting. When I looked at their site I saw that closed cell first and what drew me in was how they say it has thermal insulating properties as well. I immediately though "I can make the interior cooler!!!!!" Because whatever Lo is (I think it is 50 something) is not Lo enough for me sometimes. Especially in the heat of the summer commute.

I'm definitely considering something since I switched out the OEM exhaust with a MBRP cutoff. I don't mind the added decibels at all. Neither does the wife. Even after driving all day this past Sunday. But I know it will wear you down without you even knowing it.

So I suppose yours is more like the interior of Rolls Royce or Mercedes.

Oh hell no. When I worked at a service station the tire machine was anything but no-touch. It was basically a turn table and clamp with an arm for mounting.

I still need to add the sound-deadening to my roof (with the foam) which should make a huge difference, but I'll be adding the foam to my back wall and doors real soon.

I'm sure you'll vidja it, but I'll be curious to know how this turns out for you. I starting doing the foam panels and it just wasn't going to work. The panels weren't super flexible and with the way the MOLLE panel sits against the wall I wasn't sure it was going to work. Also, by that time I was done. That was about the time I realized I was going to have to modify my panel to work.

It's too bad you don't have any discount tire near you. No idea if they use touchless machines but they're particularly anal about mounting and their customer service is outstanding. They'd replace a wheel in a heartbeat if they scratch it.

Oh sweet! I may take you up on that. I have a couple of rollers, so I'm good on that. It's mostly just taking crap apart to do it. Appreciate it!

Yeah. Not having a Discount Tire local has always been a big gripe of mine. Brian, I'll check out Mach V. I haven't been there in a billion years. Glad to see they're still kicking around. Thanks all.

Cool. Me too. I don't have the delicate touch for interior crap. I have replaced a few interior pieces in the Taco because of my heavy handedness.

from my experience, that little bit of additional thickness keeps clips from going in place etc.
