Welcome back! Glad you enjoyed your visit with your kids. Has your MIL stepped outside yet? Lol

We bought a trailer over the weekend to help with the move. Makes everything feel so much closer

Was a great weekend with them!

MIL had her meds changed a little and has some renewed energy! Having the kids home was a nice distraction for her and she was actually more like herself from 10 years ago when she was actually pretty cool to be around. She's giving the kids their inheritance now so she can watch them enjoy it. She gave our middle daughter (who needed a car) her essentially brand new Honda CRV (2013 with <23k mi) and the other girls are getting the equivalent in cash. At least in the case of my mom, when she started doing that it wasn't even six months and she was gone.

Good news on the trailer!!! Bet you're both getting really excited? Did you ever visit that place we were talking about? Find anything else more suitable to your needs?

Yes, got back from his 7 day from his lift thread and asked for Perma.

 

That's really awesome she's giving them an inheritance at a time when they can use it and she can see it put to good use.

As for the trailer we're pretty excited about it. I think it will help us not go overboard on the purging. We keep thinking we have to much stuff but when I'm sitting with boxes in a corner and a couple empty or near empty rooms in the house I'm thinking we don't have nearly as much as we think we do.

Haven't gone up to see the house yet. We'd like to have a few more things situated here before we jump on anything because once we buy we need to be just as prepared to list our house. Supposedly there's an offer going on it but we haven't seen it go pending yet. If it's meant to be then its meant to be and if not then something else will come along but I'm still keeping my fingers crossed it'll be there for us when we're ready.

It wasn't her original intention but now that I think she's realizing that she doesn't have a ton of time left she wants to see them enjoy it. All three girls will have newer cars with little or necessary financing since the youngest and oldest are both buying newer cars with the $$. Oldest needs a bigger car cause baby #2 is due in November. Youngest was driving an older car that was cost a lot to keep running so she really needed a newer car. Can't survive Phx summers in a car with no functioning a/c.

Have you put your Ca place on the market yet?? You definitely have the right attitude going into this deal. Hope it ALL works out exactly as you'd like!
