you can look into flexible pannels, these have 3m adhesive on the backs and you can put an outside edge of eternabond tape around for peace of mind. they arent as pocket friendly as a framed panel but itd solve your height issue.

I'd put it behind the passenger's seat in the back. Out of sight, protected from the elements and other gear. Still accessible if you need it, and right next to where your batteries should be anyway.

 

I have my battery tucked under my drawer system in the back, my drawers have about a foot and a half of room behind them that I've tucked the electrical stuff in so far. Btw I hit a dead end on frame specs, and my autocad student license ran out going to cut stuff at Davids this weekend ill take some measurements of the spindle ect and see if I cant draw something up.

 

Wow! Those are cool. I like that they are portable. Shit you can hang them so they face the sun completely.

 

The link I sent is more of a sticker but they do offer portable ones. I've even seen a set at HF that came with 4 large panels you could set up at camp you'd just have to plug into your controller

Ahh, that's a good spot if its out of the weather.

No worries, I got ahold of microstation, and am either learning or fucking up badly. Good details on the spindle and frame dimensions would be helpfull.

You just need the dimensions from rail to rail upfront? Around the suspension area? Ill write down the mounting distances for the stock spindle and how everything kind of lines up with the tire so i can transfer it to a stock setup.

And the spindle height, measured pivot center to pivot center. I want to see how your numbers match up to mine.

 

And now I'm thinking about J-Arm style UCAs, because eventually I'm sure I'll want bypasses too...

 

might borrow this concept from @Night Eagle and combine my battery box/blue sea setup and my ugly yellow top home depot box (which houses a bottle jack and some recovery gear) - and put into another plano storage box. It will give me more room to expand later, and hopefully better access to stuff.
