anybody like lock on grips? This company https://www.gogettagrip.com/ makes adapters, and it fits my 2019 MT OR real nice. Just need some foam double sided tape for the chrome bezel. It's about the right size anyway. Anyone with a 3rd gen MT, this is the latest 6 speed MT one they offer, it fits fine.

I just used some 7/8 OD pipe and tack welded a nut in the bottom. The gettagrip is a really nicely finished product, but like $50 vs spare parts I had in my garage...easy choice.

I’ve got the vans getta grip since I don’t have access to a welder. I’m sure I could have come up with something else but oh well

Thanks for the input guys! Probably going to go with TREK since they have a shop right here next to my house. I'll stop buy and see what feels best.

Or just take what you can get! Might have a tough time finding something in-stock at the moment.

Oh... I did decide to keep the bike. The Trek store offered to replace the saddle with the men's version off the original Roscoe 8 I had planned to purchase.

The biggest dilemma is spending money on bikes/motorcycles or on the truck.

Yup, except I went with the gum color. Even though those grips kind of suck for a bike haha
That’s always the dilemma haha. My truck hasn’t gotten anything new in about a year...but I’ve gotten 2 bikes since then haha

Yeah I wheeled the shit out of my truck for a few years and then got tired of limping it home/replacing expensive parts. Bikes are much less consequence. My trucks just a river shuttle and mulch carrier now

Now I'm sorting out the best way to manage transport of my (2) bikes on my rig for camping trips. I have an LP bed rack (Mobtown) with my RTT. Thinking I'm going to need to get creative with the bike mounts to allow the tent to open without being forced to remove at least one of the bike carriers.

If I had your setup I’d have a hitch mount welded to the swing out to put a hitch rack on. Assuming the swing out is stable enough. I use a hitch rack which clears my RTT but I don’t have good access to my tailgate so a swingout would fix that

I run a 1Up tray behind my truck. Works like a charm and doesn't mess with the tent at all.

Sometimes I have friends ride with me, or for a shuttle.

I also discovered after delivery that I needed the 2 tray model because my wide bars hit my chase bar in the 1st tray position.
