I am running an Old Man Emu kit with dakars etc SPC uca's, 275/70/17 ko2s (almost a 33" lol) for about 2 years now. I no longer have any height restrictions in my life so I would love to lift it a bit more.
I am looking at 6" lifts.
I do have any access to plenty off roading. I do a lot of camping etc.
Looking for performance but also something cost effective that will not break the bank.
I am assuming I could keep my leafs and add a block? SPC's will still work?
I had a local shop recommend a Procomp 6" lift.
Any thoughts, suggestions or input are appreciated.....20200508_195725.jpg

    Long travel or Bracket lift.

Bracket would be a downgrade from what you have because you have to cut the frame to add the big bracket.

Procomp and such being a bracket lift?
What is involved or would need swapping on a long travel? Cheers

Long travel is a lot of component and fabbing manipulation as well. Not to mention very expensive. Why not just get more true lift out of bigger tires, some re-gearing and some cutting with your current setup?

The Pro-comp 6" lift require you to run 18" or larger wheels too so add that to the cost.

To clear the knuckle...but I thought I read 17s were the minimum...
Check the web page to be certain.

Oops, you're right. The RC kit requires requires an aftermarket 17 though, but it looks like the OP's truck isn't on stockers.

Yah, and 18” isn’t very good for off-roading because less sidewall.

A big ole bracket lift also limits ground clearance. Most trucks end up with less ground clearance after a 6” drop bracket lift. The body as frame goes up, but that big bracket is still the lowest point
