Crawl box and xfer case are still leak free! I haven't seen a drop since I out it in. It dribbled a bit from one of the bottom bolts but it hasn't run the 1/2" to the bottom of the case. I'm perfectly happy with that!

I'll start working on the crossmember for the crawl box Thursday.

 

Hell yeah that's a victory. do you have to build another separate one for the crawl box further back? Or can you modify the stock one? Id imagine theres a lot of leverage on that piece once you add a crawl box in there

Yeah it'll need some support before I put it to work. It's multiplying torque nearly 5x before it goes into the transfer case. 12x at the back of the xfer case, that'll definitely try to twist some things, especially if it gets a shock load.

I'll build a support to tie into the existing crossmember and I'll try to tie it into the frame. I think I'll add this one, too

Wow that's pretty crazy it multiplies it that much! That will definitely take it's toll on a stock setup. That link you posted is a very nice kit, looks super stout, i like that it bolts into the t-case cover. That should definitely take care of things!

Frustrating that I didn't get shelves done. The bottom pair became a pain over and over, and I think the heat finally got my brain, so I called it for a beer and shower. Drank so much water out there, I didn't lose any weight during the day! Mid-afternoon, when it was going well....
