Went for a maiden dirt run in the new truck, about a month old now with just under 1k miles. Picked up a little project as well! First Tacoma and I'm hooked, crazy to think I almost went with white too....

44A15B49-D50E-4F21-8465-4C306C1ED8DC.jpg New to TW, got rid of my 2012 sr5 prerunner a while back and switched to a Ram (mistake) and and now have acquired a 2020 TRD sport 4x4. I was really fired up about that cement gray but as soon as I came across this magnetic beauty it was a love at first sight.

And before anyone jumps on my ass about 20’s...I am aware they are not as good of performers as a smaller diameter wheel, but for my needs in the southeastern part of the states they get Through the Offroad obstacles I mainly encounter to get to fishing/hunting spots, so for me it serves its purpose. Also I think the over-landing setups are badass, I just wouldn’t utilize all that sweet offroadedness capability.

Props for appreciating other builds and not feeling the need to buy all that stuff for your truck too. TW is a pointless money pit for a lot of people if they aren't careful.

Has anyone noticed any slight "tiger striping" or kind of weird blotching on either of your MGM fenders where it molds from the hood to the wheel wells? I bought a brand new 2020 a few weeks ago and noticed it a bit. I wasn't sure if it's the way the fenders refract light since they're angled or if it's an actual paint problem. I don't have any pics of it right now, but I can post some after my truck is back from the shop (for other reasons).

yes, I thought it was just me at first, but between were the edge of the hood and front fender flare it has a striping effect. Not sure if that’s Intentional or a flaw..personally I think it looks kinda cool.

Mine just chips extremely easy...so many chips :( is that expensive to have someone fix? There’s a few on doors and a ton on hood/front bumper.

This makes me happy to hear that it's not just me. I was debating on taking it back to the dealer to see what they thought, but I'll just live with it if it's normal.

I would have them done professionally. I made the mistake of trying to fix my first ding (own fault) that was through the clear and paint. I ended up touching it up, buffing, touching up again, buffing some more. I blemished the clear coat and it looked worse than the ding and scratch before lol. It's in the shop for a $900+ bill and I've had the truck for 3 weeks :annoyed:.

Sounds good! I'm interested to see if everyone has it to some degree. That will determine my actions with the dealership.

How do you like the M50? I am still debating between the M50 and M5.

Just picked up my MGM Limited earlier this month and loving it, originally was looking at white or cement but this baby caught my eye. My second Taco, first was a Silver '04 DC TRD Off-road that I lifted and supercharged among other things. Love my old Taco but the third gen is in a class of its own.

    Fresh from the dealer:
