Has anyone looked into the cost of adding the panoramic camera step up to their 3gen. One Camera on each mirror and one in the front? Assuming you have the rear already. Just a question. Can’t image anyone would has.

I can’t image I would ever do the upgrade myself. Just wondering if anyone has done it. You find lots of front cameras added.

TBH the panoramic camera system isn’t that great. I don’t know if its just terrible cameras or a low resolution display, but its really not that helpful. And it only turns on in 4L..

It’s flashy, and with a better camera it could be cool. But right now there is a lot of room for improvement.

On a separate note, you would also need the software that comes with it, which would probably include the new infotainment system.. imo, if you have a 19 or older, its probably better to just get an aftermarket infotainment system with CarPlay and attach the camera that usually comes with those systems to the front of the truck. I did that with my 18 and it was better than the 20’s pano cameras. I might do a review here soon, who knows.

Huh? On the left side of the dash there's a button where you can turn it on anytime you're going under 5 MPH. You might want to learn all the functionality before you do that review.

With Toyota parts? No, it would be easier to sell the truck and buy a pro.

I would be neat to have the side cameras, but I've never found the need for them.

One high def camera in the front is more beneficial than the panoramic cameras. But the 360 cameras are awesome for tight parking spots.

Yeah, that’s not the “Multi Terrain Monitor”.. That’s just the parking mode. Try it out, you’ll see :)

We're...not talking about "Multi Terrain Monitor"? We're talking about the panoramic camera. MTM is just extra data displays blended with the pano cam.

I suppose you are correct, but I was assuming if someone wanted to add cameras it would have been for MTM, not for parking.

Just curious to see what people had to say. Like I said, I can’t see me putting it in my truck.

After all it is for a Toyota, there are way more things we can wait our money on that might be more useful or not as useful.
