You ever taken the intake manifold off a 5sfe?

I wanna take it off to clean the carbon and crap

 

I'd assume LC.

It's against the firewall? I hate fwd engine orientation.

 

hows it mounted from the bottom i have no...

I cant even see that whole view

 

I don’t remember... I used a lift

 

I don’t see many old engines like that anymore.

 

Oh, hows taking the subframe off the car and working on it it like that

 

It's mounted just like the 3rz's. Follow the runners down to a couple bolts. Couple bolts in the gaps and sides.

 

Let the lower manifold sit in the parts washer for a few hours.

Good catch on the stock photo! I actually got the 4 port version from LC Engineering which I understand bought the rights to the old TRD supercharger from Magnuson and I think the only place to get them new now.

This one is mine!





Sad they needed to remove the cool TRD letters from the intake..

 

have someone etch it then paint it.

 

Got my alignment done after I replaced front and rear suspension

 

Clearly a factory defect. Send it to me for proper disposal so you can get the right one.

 

After 18 months of owning my Taco, I finally have it all the same color.

Lol the 01 donor I got for the manual swap had the 97 grille swapped on it and I couldn’t resist. Only took about an hour and some zip ties to make everything tight, and drilling two holes for mounting the headlights. But other than that it’s super easy.

 

Beat me to it. Im planning on doing this as well. Looks sick.
