What are you paying for 2020 Tacomas?

Happy to say I finally have a Tacoma!!

I purchased a 2020 TRD OR DCLB AT 4x4 Super White with Premium Package, Advanced Tech, LED lights, and the following port installed accessories (Cargo Lights, Power Tailgate, Predator Steps, Premium Carpet and Blackout Package)

This was the exact spec that I was looking for other than the premium carpets haha.

I utilized the Costco Program and was provided the pricing quickly as well a decent values for my trade ins. Basically was able to work out the deal over a few emails and a couple of phone calls.

MSRP $46,951

Sales Price $43,021 including a $299 Dealer Installed Protection Program (Originally $1495 but automatically discounted 80% via Costco and included LLumar Tint plus a few other protection items that I didn’t mind paying that price for) plus a $150 Doc Fee.

I took advantage of the 0% in lieu of the $1750 Rebate.

Was able to negotiate a Fidelity Platinum Warranty for 4 years/120K for $1736 and Gap for $650. They originally wanted $3000 and $899 for both which I had to decline at those prices. I drive about 30K per year with my job so I felt it was worthwhile to get them at the reduced prices.

Overall I feel like I got a solid deal especially considering it was the last White Premium w/ LED TRD OR in DFW.
It seems like these builds have been going quickly and dealers have been less reluctant to provide good deals on the remaining ones available.

Dolan Toyota in Reno was really helpful and not pushy when I bought mine last year.

 

It doesn’t seem too far off. Mine was a hair over $31k OTD. Mine is also 2 years older with no tech package and no LED’s

 

Had everything completed just before the shutdown. Needed the smog check, VIN verification was done at the DMV when I picked up the plates. Took 3+ weeks for the local DMV to send me the notice that the paperwork had been processed and that I should come in to pick up the plates. I imagine that is now being extended; just keep all your sale paperwork in the glove box just in case you are pulled over.

Look at out of state dealers; I had the lowest offers two weeks ago from dealers in OR, CO and NE. Got a Sport 4x4 DCSB from Village Point in NE; MSRP $37.7k; $31.5k OTD (no TTL because out of state). One of the offers from a Bend OR dealer was almost as good, and that's alot closer if you're in So Cal. Just start emailing the dealers that have the one you want, and then play the lowest offer against the others.

I am new here. Just picked up my 2020 TRD OR DCSB in Voodoo Blue. I was was looking for a DCLB in cement but with the dwindling inventory in my area I settled for the one below (I know settled). I was able to complete the entire purchase online and through text messages. The dealer I worked with brought the vehicle to me for test drive/buying purposes. Very easy process, plus I was able to avoid the dreaded “finance office”. Feel like I got a pretty good deal of $44,240 MSRP down to $38240 OTD. This included Tech and premium packages. Also had mud guards and chrome tip added from port. When the dealer dropped the vehicle off for delivery, they stated that I was lucky to get the deal that I did due to low inventory and high demand. They stated that they had 5 or 6 people offer to buy the vehicle while I was in the process of financing. Glad I put $500 down to hold the vehicle. I attempted to get a cover included but they wouldn’t go for it. Overall I am pretty excited to get into a Tacoma.

Yes before TTL. Sorry for the confusion (I said OTD). My mistake. It was $41k and some change after TTL. This was at a Minneapolis area dealer.

 

...^^^... Be VERY cautious of that Fidelity Platinum Warranty ... best to go with Toyota's Corporate Platinum Warranty at about the same price ... even if you have to buy it from a dealer out of your region.

Many dealers in SET will not sell it because the profits are VERY high with Fidelity. And you can get GAP at a good price from your insurance company. I have had a dozen Toyota trucks and many other Toyotas and I know SET and Fidelity very well.

Remember ... you can change your mind and cancel and go with another company in your grace period.

A dealer between LA and San Diego just listed a "fresh" 4x4 TRD OR DCSB in MGM with ONLY Led DTRL, Regular Tech Pack, and a few bolt ons (blackout, mudguards, D-rings, mini tie downs) for...

ASKING $46,597!!!!!

with the $1,750 rebate, they bump it down to $44,847! This config. MSRPs at $42k - $43k max! No leather, no sunroof, no LED headlights (remember only DTRL are on this particular one), no Adv. Tech...
Pictures don't appear to show any upgraded rims/tires or anything...

I didn't contact the dealer for the story, yes, I am afraid to hear what they have to say!

For you folks getting the score in other states, my hats off to you!

**Update - 5/25/2020, the dealer finally posted the actual pictures of the truck. It looks like a TRD OR listed has an MSRP of $39,747 with $6,890 added for Procomp Suspension, ToyoA/Ts, Method Wheels, Nerf Steps.

A couple of the dealers I was negotiating with 2-3 weeks ago at the time had 30+ Tacoma's on the lot. I looked today at two of them and both were under 10. The majority of the ones left were 2wd; and most had a lot of accessories. Glad I bought when I did - but I think in a few months the economy will still be recovering and prices will go back down once inventory builds back up on the lots.
