    It’s fantastic.
The most popular trail is Flow trail. It’s pretty sweet!
The total loop is about 15 miles and 2200 feet of elevation gain.

Hours of climbing, minutes of descending. Just kidding, it does feel like that at times.

    Here's a map.

My buddy in sac is selling a set of clazzio seat covers off his 2017 trd sport dcsb. They're black with red stiching.

Let me know if you're interested. He lives right by I5 and the Sutterville exit.

    That’s fairly accurate.
Luckily for me a good size portion of riding motivation is cardio.
A mean downhill is a work out but climbing is as well.
Speaking of which we should do a TW Downieville mountain biking and wheeling trip.

May have to wait a while. My best bud who has a place in Goodyears Bar, and is there frequently, says the locals are none too happy with tourists right now. The town elected to shut down the River for fishing. Signs posted around town telling people to move on. This was just a couple weeks ago. It would seem to be cutting their own throats, as businesses in the town really flourish in the summer with bicyclists, motorcyclists, fisherman, campers, etc...

Count me in on any mtb rides. I've riden a lot of the UCSC trails, but have yet to check out the demo forest.

In the back of my head I wrote off Downieville for this year now that you mention it. There was a thing in NPR about it I heard a little while ago.

Heck, I heard some crazy percentage of the town’s total revenue comes from the week of the downieville downhill classic mountain bike race. Their whole economy is outdoors stuff. I always spend extra money there as a sorta thanks for doing what you do for us.
However, I’ll respect what they want and wait till they open.

Curious how the feeling is up in Quincy for the Mt. Hough downhill system.

    Nice!
I built an aux tank set up in 2015 that’s really similar. I got a tank out of a pick and pull for $40! Being able to carry 35 gallons of fuel is pretty nice.
I’m impressed he’s selling the set up for $165. Mine ended up being a bit more than that and took about 6 months start to finish.

It's crazy. My buddys family has been a part of that town since the late 1860's. You read that right, 1860's. No one from the family has been there full time in 50 years, but they are there all the time, and everyone knows them. He thinks they're nuts to do what they're doing.

There's a lot of that going on now. I see people in Santa Cruz complaining about Valley people as well. Santa Barbara is suffering the same influx from LA crowd.

The answer has to be to open more places so people aren't forced to a few places to recreate.

Quincy is also shut down. Still only curbside for restaurants but only a select few. High sierra was canceled this year (in super bummed) as were a bunch other things like the fair and parades through the town. Kind sucks. Haven't heard yet about the downhill. I'll find out maybe later today.
