    My SR does not have the mirror plug. I ran the power from the drivers side fuse panel.

    People were having issues with the 1st gen adaptor heating up. Its been a week for me in the FL heat with no over heating.

    Yes, everything is saved in 1 minute clips.

    Here is a video taken today with the Garmin Mini Dashcam on a dirt road. It gives a decent representation of quality. I have had no issues with heat from the camera or the adaptor. no issues with downloading times, video recording, or linking to the camera. I checked the card today and still had files from last Wednesday.

    What cable are you using for your garmin dash cam? I tried using 2 others and it gives the message to use what was supplied for power for my garmin dash cam 45
