    I finally had time to swap ECMs And initialize the immobilizer. Auto 4x4 to MT 4x4. No more check engine light.

    I said the same thing and even asked about that. They said you are paying the shipping cost from China. Doesn’t matter that it’s already in NJ. Someone has to pay. Lol. If you look at other grille prices $229 total, is about right. They are also covering other costs like important tax, customs, etc..

    Removed a decal to see what it looked like.. didn’t get done before it got dark so I’m actually riding around town with a decal on one side and not the other today until I get off. Gives a good chance to walk back and forth a thousand times to try and decide which I like better :)
    What do you guys think, decal or no decal? I still can’t decide :/
    Obviously if I decide I like decals better I will just order more. These bothered me anyway because they’re actually a slight bit crooked due to the truck having been wrecked before. (All cosmetic)

    I think it has a cleaner look without it. IMO

    I want it to look better without as well, I think I’m leaning that way. Thanks for the input!

    No problem but you do you, it's your truck. There are a few folks that do custom ones also. That's what I ended up doing on mine but it's not nearly as shiny as yours

    This is something I have debated and debated. I have MGM and like that the deal breaks up the back end. Hell now I'm on the fence again...

    I agree in that it does help break up the back end. Almost looks too naked without it, but maybe that’s just because I’m not used to it. I’m back and forth as well. Literally. Walking back and forth to try and decide. :rofl:

    So here's a random question about decals: when I got my ACLB the rear driver's side quarter panel had several large dents and creases in it. I don't do body work, but I wasn't paying a shop almost $800 to fix it for me. My biggest concern was just getting what was on there in terms of paint, off, and making sure that nothing rusted. I don't really mind that it looks little junky the way I did it, because it's a truck, it's bound to get beat up. My question is this, are there any rear quarter panel decals I can grab to cover it up? I really like the legacy toyota rainbow but finding one that fits the entire rear portion of the quarter panel is difficult. Anyone know if someone makes one for it?

    Has anyone used one of those ODB2 gauges to get exterior temperature? I know you can replace the mirror for like $130 but the gauges are in the $35-45 range and would have a lot more functionality

    Any decal that has large areas of color will also show the dents. You need to get a decal with a pattern in it. Something like these;

    I don't mind it still showing through the decals, though. I just can't find one made for that area, so maybe I'll just get some vinyl sheets from Michaels and make my own. Also I looked at all of those kinds of decals and there's no possibly way I could see myself running them, they're way too much/too busy. I don't have a show truck. Appreciate your response though, thank you.

    nothing cool
    We have the exact same truck and I like the decals. I kinda like the black/red/white style of the truck with the wheels.

    Monitoring my Scan Gauge Air Intake Temp and comparing it to the outside temp on my mirror, I've noticed the two temps are pretty equal, so the short answer is, if your OBDII gauge can display AIT, then you can get a pretty good idea for the ambient air temp.
