Went and met with @81Trekker Saturday ,rad shop and awesome craftsmanship ! I feel like their Taco product designs take so many little details into consideration that others have missed and they are really thinking outside the box. We talked through a bunch of ideas for a refresh of my build...will have lots of cool stuff to share soon !

I love the idea of the LCA setup. Especially since my 34s are rubbing again as my coilovers have settled with the weight of my front steel bumper. I have a CMC and trimmed fenders already but would love to fit 35s without tubbing.

But I am not a welder and don’t have access to a good shop. Subbed for a future purchase.

yea. my tabs are busted but not for a worthy reason. had an offset head on crash on the passenger side. truck did great and protected everyone. no injuries.

the truck front corner was another story. its never been the same after, refuses to hold an alignment after a week of driving pavement and the tabs we think are soft now after being hammered back. chop shop repairs. stupid caliber collision redlands. avoid avoid avoid.

Just a heads up guys I’m looking for complete sets of stock OEM axles, if you have them I’ll buy them!

I can't leave anything well enough alone
I have a really nice set, AZ truck parted out at ~60k miles. Have been on the fence with the axle upgrade you are making, these would be the axles I would use if I did go that route. That being said, what kind of money are you willing to pay for cores? Likely you are wanting the OEM takeoffs that someone already broke the inner, or has a torn boot, etc. since you are only gonna use the outer side of things. So I'm guessing your core budget isn't really in line with a set of really clean low mile ready to go axles value?

I also have a full set of OEM boots/straps/grease, was planning to re-boot the axles above, but when I bought them it was obvious they don't need new boots.

I may have a line on a set of higher mileage axles at the end of the month.

I buy mine in bulk from ebay. Find wrecked Tacoma and make sure the axles have green stickers. I normally end up getting 1 for 60 to 70 shipped. I think I have 2 I may be able to part with if your in a hurry for them. (Ebay normally takes a week or two)
