So much for restraint. Ended up ordering a OneUp dropper/lever combo, their EDC stem and carbon bar. Rounded things out with new Ergon grips.
Now my minor OCD is pushing me to get an Ergon saddle to keep the full cockpit bits consistent. #budgetblown #itsmydreambuildhoney

Bike is not my style but that 1st Gen with those old school bullet holes made my pants get a little tighter.

I’ve got an ergon road saddle, I like, obviously it could be different for you though

Speaking of OneUp, does anyone have their pump and tool combo? If so which size pump did you go with? Been planning to go that route for a while, but can't decide on pump size.

I've got the 100cc. No EDC tool at the moment.
The larger volume one seems to be recommended for the size tires I typically run, but I haven't really needed put it to the test, yet.
You better bring some steeze to rock that lid.

Yes it was a screen grab. I am really impressed with the 8 but I'm not impressed with my camera pointing skills.

Haha that is true. I’ll pull some “felt cooler than it looked” whips rocking that helmet all day long

haha you'll get the hang of it, upside down with probably a 20-30 degree tilt off the chest plate is what I do. the best part is when you start filming not on your chest and you think you're way too close, but because of the insanely wide angle you're actually nowhere near what you're wanting to focus on lol.

for offroading videos I've figured out I basically have to be in the danger zone almost getting run over to get a good clip on the gopro, unless I feel like adjusting all the settings each time.

Yea the gopro definitely has some limitations when filming from a non POV angle. I have it paired to my phone so next time I will check the angle prior to the start of my ride.

yeah I had difficulty with that just because sitting on my bike isn't the same angle as riding...so checking the "ride angle" was tough. it's about 20-30 degree though off the plate.

I can usually get the angle close to where I want it by eye-balling it. When upside down, the Gopro is suppose to auto rotate but I find about a fourth of the videos are rendered upside down and need to be rotated in post.

Still need to do more research there. I dont really like the idea that it's not reverse able. Once it's in there is no switching back..... Big commitment

That makes the decision to get the Grip 2 a bit easier in my mind. I'm getting some volume spacers today to play around with mine.

I vote oneup all day. Plus I like their lever. Wolftooth would be my second choice if the oneup lever is sold out.

I order a 150 post on Monday evening from the Oneup site and it shipped last night.
