as a thought, I believe OV also mentioned that he is working on something that will be able to update ECU calibrations to the newest version. If I'm correct with my memory then that will possibly change everything with the VF tunes in regards to possibly being able to use VF to update any version ECU to the newest version and tune it at the same time making all old ECU versions obsolete. That would make any credits spent on an older version useless.

Is there a timeline update for the release of the tune pack. I sent my calibration numbers in last week with an email saying should be sent out last weekend. I know they are busy just would be nice for a couple updates is all.

I’m the one on 04b14, and could be placebo, but it felt better driving it around for sure. Not sure what i was on before, but i dont believe it was b13. Might as well flash up if its possible on your end - last we heard from @OVTune on this ECU, he hasn’t wrapped up the tune for this ECU, but he said it’s identical to b13 except for the TSB related to limp mode, so he claimed that the tune pack would launch for this ECU at the same time as the rest of the MTs.

They’ll flash up to b14 without the issues fixed by it - my ‘17 PRO didn’t have these issues but they upgraded me anyway.

    Hope this helps

If you never had an update before, you were likely on 04b12

I HATED the way the truck drove - it was a night and day difference to be honest.

it is not ecu specific, it is just a software wide update

Got my master key yesterday, but things won't seem to register for VF.... I sent an email back to matt - no rush!

edit - updated to the latest version and registration worked, followed by an error message.
Thanks matt for your instant reply!

This is a dumb question I have been trying to find the answer to, but I’ll ask anyway. So recently updated my ecu, and I have the correct ecu unlocked in VF. Do I need to do anything else for the tunes? Do you guys have tickets open via zen desk? I updated to the latest version of VF this morning..I didn’t want to hound Matt if nothing else was needed. I just noticed my order status says fulfilled now when I login on the website now. Everyone else the same?

If you had the flash tuner already, I think you are in the same boat as me. I believe we are waiting for the tune pack for our ECU to be emailed when they are finished. If you are brand new, you need to purchase the tune pack if you want a premade tune. I don't think the tune pack is finished either way so it's a waiting game.

Just in case, be sure to do this update to help the Tune Pack delivery along:

I purchased the tune pack when I ordered VF. I have been fiddling with the stock tune trying to get familiar with the software, but I’m running pretty fabulous on 2.0 already so I don’t want to mess with it. Not in any hurry really just wanted to make sure nothing else was needed on my end.
